David & Amanda had a beautiful day at the Manor House Hotel in Alsager. This was following a short service at Congleton United Reformed Church on Antrobus street. The Manor House Hotel makes for some fantastic wedding photography both inside and out, and I really enjoyed shooting at this venue.
I started the day with the bridal party at their home in Congleton. I captured some moments of the bride getting ready before meeting the groom and some of the wedding party at the Church. Congleton United Reformed Church is a great space for a ceremony and wedding photography. There's a balcony at the top of the church that offers a great view, as well as the ability to move around the sides quietly to capture the ceremony from all angles. This means all the moments are well documented throughout the ceremony with a variety of views.
After the ceremony we moved to The Manor House Hotel in Alsager. The guests played games in the space outside before the meal inside. There was a face painter and balloon artist for the children that attended, and Jenga, Connect Four & other games for the adults. This allowed me to capture plenty of fun and emotion through the wedding photography.
We chose a small field adjacent to the venue for the couple shots, using smoke flares to add a different dynamic to the couples memories. The Wedding Photography isn't complete without a nice set of pictures from some quiet time with the couple.
From an intense game of Jenga to children showing their parents their new face paint, there was plenty happening and lots of memories to capture. I then shot the speeches inside after the meal, before the cutting of the cake, first dance and some of the party. This allowed the wedding photography and The Manor House Hotel to tell the full story of the day from start to finish with a complete set of memories for the couple to look back on.
