Sam & Hannah got married at the special venue of Holkham Hall. Set on the North Norfolk Coast, it's a fantastic setting for wedding photography. A Palladian mansion and family home for over 300 years, Holkham specialises in one-of-a-kind celebrations that inspire creativity, wonder and the highest levels of service. I've been lucky enough to know Sam & Hannah for a couple of years so it was a pleasure to be a part of their special day.
I started the day with the bridal party in one of the suites on site. With the bridal party being so large, this was a lot of fun through the morning before we got the tractor and trailer up to the hall where the groom was waiting and the wedding photography continued.
The marble hall is a fantastic setting for a ceremony. The couple had a short service in here before having confetti and some group shots. We then proceeded to the grounds at Holkham hall for drinks and canapes. Through this time I captured natural emotions of the guests before taking the couple for a short walk in the grounds of Holkham Hall to make sure there were some peaceful moments of the two in the wedding photography.
The speeches were interspersed through the meal, keeping the guests on their toes and keeping the laughter flowing. The marquee at Holkham Hall is right on the edge of the lake and is a beautiful setting. We made the most of the breaks in the rain to capture a variety of shots for the couple. After the speeches and food there was a short break before the couple headed to the dance floor for the first dance.
The energy continued through the band and everyone was very lively on the dance floor. Through the day we made the most of the amazing venue at Holkham Hall to capture special memories through the day. I used a lot of black and white images through the wedding photography to capture the day through a different lens, among some natural colourful shots. This really told the story of the day and celebrated the couple and Holkham Hall in their entirety.
