Fill in the contact form or drop me an email. We'll chat about your plans and make sure I'm the right wedding photographer. Then there's a contract to fill out and a deposit to confirm the date, then closer to the time we'll have a conversation about what you can expect from me and your plans on the wedding day.
how long will you be there on our wedding day?
That of course depends on which package you've chosen. For a full day of wedding photography I usually stay for up to 12 hours. I love getting some party photos so I usually stay for 1 hour after the first dance.
When will we get our photos?
I have a 2-3 week turnaround on the full set of photos. And you'll get some within 24 hours. I don't like to keep couples waiting forever for wedding shots, so keep the diary clear for editing through busy periods and don't over book myself!
how many photos do you usually take?
Every wedding is different, but I haven't shot a full day wedding with less than 500+ photos. I send through the majority of the shots I take. All fully edited in my style. But to keep you going before you get the full set - I will send you a few previews up to 48h after the wedding.
do we need a second photographer?
For weddings with more than 120 guests we do advise it, but it's not a necessity. I've shot 100's of weddings solo and nothing is missed. It comes in handy for extra reactions, shooting you both getting ready if you're far apart and different vantage points through the day.
can we meet for a chat before the wedding?
Absolutely! There's plenty of good coffee here in Leeds. Or we can zoom or FaceTime if you want to talk from a distance. I always like to catch up ahead of the day, so you feel more comfortable having me around.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in West Yorkshire, but I grew up in Cheshire. So spend a lot of time visiting my parents over there. I also still do some sports photography, so spend a lot of time travelling the world for that. I love to travel for work!
Do you do family/group shots?
Definitely! These are important and I don't mind doing them at all! They also keep the older guests happy. I usually take family ones during one part of the day, any wedding party ones (such as bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc) at another point in the day as they're a different vibe. I'll work with you to help plan your shot list so these are time efficient and easy breezy.
do you offer albums?
We do! I work with a fabulous graphic designer who can design the perfect album for you. There’s no obligation to get an album though, as many couples make them themselves online. You can also come back to me about an album after the wedding.
Which style of photos will we see most of?
You'll see a variety of styles through the site, and I edit with a mixture. I'd say around 10% are black and white then the rest are split between bright colours and moody vibes. You can request one or the other ahead of the day if you prefer one of my styles, but usually it comes down to how the shots and wedding day "feel".
